Cutting Board Care Instructions

To care for a wood cutting board:

• Wash it with dish soap and warm water immediately after use. 
• NEVER put your cutting board in the dishwasher.
• Avoid soaking or submerging.
• Dry it thoroughly with a towel.
• Allow board to fully air dry by leaning it upright to allow for air circulation. 
  • Circulation will promote even drying. Uneven drying leads to cupping, warping, and bowing.
• To sanitize and deodorize, use a solution of white vinegar or a paste of baking soda and water.
• Regularly condition the board with Stu's Wood Wood Conditioner to prevent drying and cracking.
